James photographed our wedding in April 2021, and I’d have to say as soon as we met him he felt like he should have been a guest at our wedding – He instantly felt like a long lost friend.
James was happy to listen to any photo ideas we had and captured our day perfectly, and he captured our personalities in his photos.
We went through covid with James having to postpone and organise another date, and he was no fuss with it at all and helped organise a new date.

Having followed James’s photography for a couple of years, selecting him for updating our little families photos wasn’t hard. His quick responses, flexibility and clear communication meant securing a time and date was done with ease.
At the ready with eagerness, James ventured to our local beach where we have shared many memories and swims. He had a plan, was happy to tailor any ideas we had but mostly, he made the children feel comfortable from the onset – the key to great photos with little kids.
We frolicked, laughed and played on rocks, dodged around seaweed and splashed in waves, all the while without noticing James and his camera. He was professional, composed, adaptable and friendly and we were overwhelmed with the beauty of the photos captured.
Capturing these moments in time is so special for little families like ours, and to do so naturally and in our own backyard is definitely something we appreciate now but also, forever.

Where do I start?
I’ve been following James on instagram for a while and fell in love with his style of photography, and when we were deciding on who to photograph our wedding, I knew it had to be him!
From the moment he walked into our home and introduced himself, it felt like we had known him forever it was like reuniting with a long lost mate.
We felt so comfortable around James for our wedding. It was simply mates hanging out having a few beers, laughs, and a photoshoot – he did the perfect job capturing our day.
Plus, he even hung around for a boogie at the reception, such a LEGEND!
We are in awe of the photos he took. They’re absolutely stunning, I would recommend James to everyone.

We had James photograph our wedding in October 2022 and he was so much fun – knowing James from High School, I knew his laid back personality would suit our day perfectly.
James was so good helping with photo ideas, last minute venue changes and did exactly what we asked and wanted.
I absolutely loved that James was around for our reception and captured all the fun parts. James got involved in our night and was honestly like a guest. Darcy hates photos and James made him comfortable in front of the camera. Our photos are unreal and we could not speak higher of James and his work. Each time he updated our gallery, I fell even more in love with the photos.

I can’t count the amount of times I’ve looked at the photos James took for our wedding in March. He absolutely nailed every photo and fitted perfectly into our country wedding theme.
I wasn’t the most organised bride but james was patient and very helpful throughout the lead up to our wedding.
